Reviews about Walgreens

My psychiatrist prescribes me Alprazolam, which is no ones business. However these are the comments that have been made to me by the current pharmacists at Walgreens on Morrison; “Why do you take this much Alprazolam”? “Yeah, were going to call your doctor, just to make suuure he intended to write this prescription”. You would think after every single script I bring in, which is every 3 months after the refills are up, that they would get the gist that every time they call my doctor, he gives the same answer; “Yes, I wrote this prescription, as I have every single time”. My doctor isn’t some quack who writes scripts Willy nilly. My doctor has been with Eastover Psychology and Psychiatric Group, the best office in the city, since 2002. He is rated one of the top psychiatrists in the country every single year, yet this Walgreens pharmacy continues to doubt the treatment I am receiving by him, and continues to make comments to me about why I am taking Alprazolam. Completely unacceptable. Completely unprofessional. As someone who has been treated for a hereditary mental illness for 8 years by the same psychiatrist, I expect at the very least to not be judged for taking a controlled substance. It’s insulting, it’s embarrassing, and it is, again, completely inappropriate because those pharmacists are not my doctors. I do not receive care from them. I do not receive treatment from them. So explain to me, Walgreens, why are your pharmacists asking completely out of line questions and making completely out of line statements about the treatment I receive, from my doctor?
