  Poor and ridiculous management. First, I'd expect to get some sort of itemized receipt after dropping off a number of items to their store. Otherwise, do you trust that they are tying what you drop off to your account and not someone else's? I have consigned at other shops and received an itemized list. Second, you drive there and they tell you you need to provide self addressed and stamped envelopes for them to send you checks for sales. "Yep, let me just go to my car where I keep envelopes and stamps", right! And like I'm gonna drive home and back just to bring them 2 envelopes and two 49 cent stamps. They can't just take whatever my check is and deduct 49 cents or whatever?! Then the kicker! I brought them my consignment because I moved across the country so I can't come by and pick up checks. So the check is for only $5. I suspect they lost track that my items were from me and sold them--I get regular checks for about $150 from another store. AND I'm told they won't mail a check for only $5 amount because if it doesn't reach me it costs them a $35 bank fee. Unbelievable! They are telling me they won't send me a check in the mail on the off chance I don't get it. I get all my other mail including checks for $1000, postcards, birthday cards....These people are ridiculous!! The people that helped me when I dropped off my items and I've called 3 times and each experience has been with someone with a bad attitude. I see other reviewers met those same people. I regret consigning with them and would feel better having just donating my items. Consign elsewhere. There are other great stores in Charlotte. The only reason I went here is because I couldn't get a last minute appointment at other shops.
